The inventor
Filip Sax is the man behind the cupkeeper. After hours of hard work in his studio, the plumber from Balegem changed this original and practical idea into a new product.
To ensure his invention would be commercially viable, Filip enlisted the help of the Centrum voor Ondernemen van de Hogeschool Gent (Business Centre at the Gent polytechnic). Under the leadership of teacher-entrepreneur Johan Verrue, six students of commercial science set to work on doing the market research. It was soon clear there was a huge potential for the cupkeeper and it was immediately decided to put together a group of professional partners for production and commercial marketing.
